Principles Of Discipline

"All knowledge is within the mind. The only value of knowledge is in the strengthening, the discipline, of a mind."

1) Every child needs to be disciplined in order to behave in a manner acceptable to others and observe the defined limits of freedom.

2) Desired behaviour can be strengthened by paying attention to positive behaviour.

3) Disciplining the children is one way of setting them on right path and equipping them to wing it on their own.

4) Do not pemper children unreasonably. Abundance of any thing spoils children at very young age.

5) Pupils are made to realize that they are responsible to the school authorities not only for their conduct in the school but also for general behaviour outside.

6) Open defiance, disobedience, objectionable moral influence, disrespect to the authorities and teachers will be sufficient reasons for dismissal.

7) Girls should come to school with their hair in two plaits or ponies with white ribbons or have a boy' cut. They should pin up all their flicks strictly. White hair bands must be worn from Monday to Saturday. Boys should have short hair and have a hair cut everymonth.

8) The uniform must be clean and neatly pressed. Shoes well polished, finger nails must be short snd kept clean.

9) Pupils are expected to be punctual, late comers are liable to be sent home at their parent's own-risk.

10) The School does not take any responsibility for the loss of books, pens, money etc. It is not advisable for students to have money or other valuables with them. Wearing of gold rings, earings, chains and other ornaments are strictly forbidden.

11) Pupils are expected to come to school provided with all that is necessary for their day's work. Borrowing or lending of pencils, eraser, rulers, instrument box, etc. is discouraged.

12) Personal cleanliness and hygiene are greatly recommended to all. The students should be particularly careful not to throw any papers, seeds etc. anywhere in the school premises. They should use the baskets and bins especially provided for this purpose. Use of polythene bags is strictly prohibited.

13) When pupils move along the corridors for change of periods, they must walk in silence and in single line. They should always keep to the left.

14) Running, playing or shouting inside the school building is never allowed.

15) After School, the students will straightaway go to their houses. They will not stay behind as to cause tensions and worries to their parents.
